Surprisingly, in an online survey, legal professionals topped the list of most-in-demand professionals in Kuwait. Statistics say that Vacancies in the law sector has soared in the Middle East by as much as 33 per compared to the previous year.
Middle East is the region where the most recruitment activity happens when the global job sectors are concerned. Since the internet and Smartphone usage rates are booming, people prefer online portals to apply for jobs. The studies said that even at the risk of current economic status, recruitments are intact and legal professionals are in top demand by countries in Middle East.
Coming next in the array is healthcare professionals. No country can neglect healthcare sector and recruitments always happen into it, irrespective of financial level of the country. Surveys show that good number of healthcare jobs is advertised across the region. 17% direct jump in online vacancies are found in healthcare jobs from last year.
Next comes in the list, the finance and accounting folks. Compared to last year there is a 13% increase in the jobs listed for accounting professionals, this year. All the online portals have multiple vacancies listed to recruit finance people. Finance and accounting being the backbone or any organization, these professionals may find openings irrespective of recessions.
Software and IT is another high-demand profession, as of today. All the gulf countries are focusing on IT development as per their strategies of creating jobs for own citizens. This era is marked with digitalization of every industrial sector; IT sector requires huge workforce. Qualified IT guys are in demand throughout the gulf region.
Marketing and administration field also look for well experienced and skilled professionals. 10% of increase in job listings is tracked by the surveys. It is a fact that major share of the total income of any company is generated by marketing people. Organizations can’t survive in the business without capable marketing people.
Apart from these unskilled laborers are in huge demand in gulf countries. Countries like UAE and Kuwait has already announced their plans of developing infrastructure to meet the emerging financial crisis resulted from the oil price decrease. Construction workers, general semi-skilled laborers can easily find jobs in these countries as many recruitment agencies and online portals have listed quite a good number of vacancies in this sector. People from Asian countries are the direct beneficiaries of unskilled job demand.
